Chicago corn and soybean futures rose toward multi-month highs after the US did not impose agricultural tariffs or prompt Chinese counter-tariffs on crop shipments. Wheat was unchanged amid weak demand, and rain in Argentina's central region eased dryness there.
The absence of tariffs keeps US export demand intact and supports corn and soybean prices, while Argentine rains partly offset that support by easing crop stress.
