Asian rice export prices fell as weak demand and currency moves led Indian and Thai sellers to cut quotes. Thai 5% broken rice was quoted at US$396-417 a tonne, and Indian parboiled prices slipped further.
Weak export demand and lower Indian and Thai prices point to ample global supply and softer rice pricing. Feed buyers may see cheaper rice-based feed inputs.
