NIBULON, a Ukrainian agribusiness shipper, moved nearly 1.6 million tonnes of agricultural commodities for export in the second quarter of the marketing year, its best result since starting operations. Corn made up 40.8% of exports and wheat 26%, despite a poor harvest in southern Ukraine.
Strong shipments from Ukraine's private exporters indicate Black Sea corn and wheat are moving well, a modestly bearish factor for export prices despite a smaller crop.
