Wheat futures fell on June 24 as winter wheat harvest reached 19% complete versus a 28% average. Winter wheat condition ratings dropped to 49% good to excellent, and EU soft wheat exports through June 22 were 19.93 million tonnes, well below last year.
Slow harvest progress and declining crop ratings point to lower HRW output, which supports hard red wheat prices and reduces export availability.
