Climate Watch – December 2016 Edition: Japanese winter off to a slow start – 季節ウォッチ

JAMSTEC's SINTEX-F seasonal forecast projects above-normal surface temperatures across many areas of the world for December through February. It expects a weakening La Niña Modoki, a negative Indian Ocean Dipole ending, and warmer waters off northwestern Australia.
