Air samples successful in detecting on-farm PRRSV, PEDV, and high-path avian influenza virus

A University of Minnesota study found that PRRSV, PEDV and high-path avian influenza can spread through airborne particles. Air samples from infected farms detected PEDV in 69% of sampling events and HPAIV in 61%, while PRRSV was found in only 8%.
