Fed lifts rates, sees faster pace of hikes in Trump's first year

After the Fed raised rates and signaled faster hikes in 2017, shorter-dated Treasury yields hit their highest in more than five years and US stocks fell. The dollar rose against a basket of currencies and gold dropped to its lowest level in more than a year.
