Sell the South African Rand, says Bank of America, an October Rally is Not Coming

The rand slumped on Friday as emerging-market assets sold off after Bloomberg reported Trump was weighing limits on US portfolio flows into China and restrictions on Chinese firms listing in US markets. Bank of America advised selling the rand, expecting further weakness into October.
