Indonesia biodiesel group says more capacity in 2020 could help exports

The Indonesian Biofuel Producers Association expects 3.62 million kilolitres of additional biodiesel (FAME) capacity in 2020, bringing total capacity to 12 million kilolitres. The association says this could support biodiesel exports.

Rising biodiesel capacity could draw more palm oil into fuel production and reduce oil available for food and export. That supports palm oil prices if the export channel grows.
