Iowa State Extension field agronomists reported moisture stress in the western counties and excess moisture in the east for the week of June 22-30, 2020. Corn was mostly at V10 to V12 and looking good, and soybeans were flowering, with off-site herbicide injury also reported.
Mixed regional conditions with dryness in the west are a modest concern for yield prospects, but the crop still looks reasonable, so the price impact is limited.
