India recorded a farm trade surplus for April-September 2020 as essential agricultural exports rose 43% to Rs 53,626 crore. Wheat exports were up 206% and non-basmati rice up 105%.
Preliminary agriculture ministry data based on customs figures showed the surplus against a deficit in the same period of 2019.
