Export of essential agri commodities for the period April-September 2020 increases by 43.4 percent

India's essential agricultural exports for April-September 2020 rose 43.4% to Rs 53,626.6 crore from a year earlier. Wheat exports rose 206% and non-basmati rice 105%.

Agricultural trade posted a surplus of Rs 9,002 crore against a deficit a year earlier.
