Vietnam rice prices gain top spot on global markets

Vietnamese 5% broken rice averaged US$425-430 per ton on global markets in October, the highest since November 2021, and was US$20-50 above Thai and Indian rice. Vietnam's exports rose 22% in volume month-on-month in October to over 713,540 tons.
