Fed hawkishness puts Vietnam's dong, inflation and interest rates in focus

The Fed raised rates by 25 basis points, taking the federal funds rate to 3.75-4%, and signalled that rates could stay elevated. Vietnamese average consumer prices rose 4.45% in the first eight months of the year.
