Peru’s finance minister said police officers serving in areas under a state of emergency will receive delayed monthly life-risk bonuses, which can reach 2,150 soles. The payments are provided for in the state budget, but officials did not specify when they will be made or disclose the total amount owed.
The promised public-sector payments do not directly affect agricultural supply or demand, so no material feed-commodity price effect is indicated.
