Project44 data showed that Middle East port diversions had eased from their peak but averaged about 2.4 times pre-conflict levels during the four weeks ending October 25. Transshipment dwell times at six major ports remained above baseline, ranging from 12% higher at Port Said to 59% higher at Hambantota and Mundra.
Diversions and longer port waits continue to reduce effective shipping capacity and add delays, supporting freight costs and increasing landed costs for feed ingredients moving through affected routes.
