Mukka Proteins began commercial production at its Al Juba facility in Oman, adding 37,200 tonnes per year of capacity and raising group manufacturing capacity to 340,170 tonnes per year. CARE Ratings revised its outlook on the company’s facilities from Negative to Stable.
The capacity increase may add supply of the company’s fish-based products, including fishmeal, which could modestly ease availability pressure. The article does not quantify how much of the new capacity will produce feed ingredients.
