ICBF recordings show average Irish milk production fell to 14.66 kg per cow over October 27–November 6, down from 16.15 kg in mid-October. Output is also below the same period last year, although milk solids remained at 1.34 kg per cow as fat content rose and protein eased.
Lower per-cow output could tighten Irish milk supply and support dairy prices, though the report covers recorded herds rather than a national production forecast.
