Kyrgyzstan reported that its 2026 raw-cotton harvest reached about 41,000 tonnes, the largest in ministry records since 2007. Officials attributed the crop in part to reliable summer irrigation, with the Toktogul reservoir 86.2% full on November 6.
A larger cotton crop can increase the availability of cottonseed and cottonseed meal, putting modest downward pressure on meal prices.
