USDA reported private export sales on November 6 of 136,000 metric tons of US soybeans to China and 101,000 metric tons of US corn to unknown destinations, both for delivery in the 2026/27 marketing year. The soybean sale was the fifth business day in six with a reported sale to China, ahead of the November 10 WASDE report.
The purchases add to US export demand and may support soybean and corn prices; repeated China soybean bookings could influence USDA’s export assumptions in the WASDE balance sheets. The corn buyer’s destination was not identified.
