Egypt’s central bank currency rates were reported as stable during the Saturday holiday, based on the latest published figures. The US dollar was quoted at 53.8726 Egyptian pounds to buy and 54.0120 to sell, while the euro was quoted at 60.4504 to buy and 60.6123 to sell.
The reported stability points to no new exchange-rate pressure on the local cost of imported feed and agricultural inputs.
