Indonesia lowered its November CPO reference price by 6.07% to about US$890 per tonne, cut the export levy by 20%, and set the export duty at US$124 per tonne. Industry representatives also raised concerns about Danantara export fees, while reports discussed the planned B50 biodiesel blend and constraints including CPO availability, infrastructure readiness, and slow smallholder replanting.
Lower export charges can improve Indonesian export competitiveness and increase export availability, potentially weighing on palm oil prices. If B50 is implemented, greater domestic biodiesel use could absorb more CPO and offset some of that pressure.
After 400 past bearish policy events, Palm Oil moved a median -0.0% over 5 sessions (49% higher; middle half -1.3% to +1.1%), and +0.2% over 20.
