Pakistan LNG Limited extended the deadline for suppliers to bid on two spot LNG cargoes from November 6 to November 10. The cargoes, each about 140,000 cubic metres, are for delivery to Port Qasim in December to help meet winter gas and electricity demand.
The tender represents near-term import demand from Pakistan and could add support to LNG spot demand, although the extension changes the bidding timetable rather than the required volumes.
