Indonesia’s agriculture minister said state-owned Bulog could buy surplus corn from farmers working with livestock groups and store it under a warehouse-receipt scheme. Participating farmers would be able to draw on the stored corn when feed supplies become scarce, particularly toward the end of the year.
The scheme is intended to shift surplus corn into shortage periods, improving seasonal availability for feed buyers and potentially easing price pressure during the lean season.
After 310 past bearish policy events, Corn moved a median +0.3% over 5 sessions (54% higher; middle half -1.4% to +1.9%), and +0.6% over 20.
