European corn prices declined as EU harvesting accelerated and Ukrainian grain supplies increased, with the March Euronext contract falling to €247.75 per ton. Ukraine had harvested 37.5% of its planned corn area by October 30, producing 10.776 million tons; October exports were 262,000 tons, below both September and the same month a year earlier.
New-crop supplies in Europe and Ukraine add to nearby availability and weigh on corn prices. Slower Ukrainian exports and shipping constraints may limit how much of that supply reaches buyers.
After 357 past bearish weather events, Corn moved a median -0.3% over 5 sessions (44% higher; middle half -2.2% to +1.3%), and -0.5% over 20.
