Rabobank forecasts GBP/USD at 1.31 in three and six months, falling to 1.30 in twelve months. The bank says sterling could weaken if markets scale back expectations for further Bank of England tightening; its forecasts were published before the latest election outcome, BoE decision and US jobs data.
Reduced expectations for UK rate increases could lessen support for sterling and weigh on GBP/USD. The forecast is not a new policy action or direct supply-demand driver for feed commodities.
