Ukraine launched the CORE Program, a 2026–2031 initiative backed by 30 million Swiss francs from the Swiss government to support small and medium-sized businesses. It will focus on agribusiness and food processing, including modernization grants of up to 150,000 francs, industry clusters, resource-efficient technology and stronger local value chains.
Grants and investment could gradually improve Ukrainian agricultural processing capacity and the value retained in domestic supply chains. The program is not a near-term supply shock, so any commodity-price effect is likely limited.
