The State Bank of Vietnam announced a 182-day foreign-exchange swap with a maximum size of US$2 billion. The operation allows eligible banks to exchange dollars for dong at spot and repurchase the dollars at maturity, potentially injecting nearly VND49 trillion into the banking system.
