Ukrainian sunflower seed bids fell to about 15,000–16,000 UAH per tonne as processors curbed purchases amid constrained sunflower oil and meal exports. Export offers for crude sunflower oil were around $450–470 per tonne, while logistics risks, weak demand at western crossings and Danube ports, and unsold stocks kept crushing demand selective.
Export bottlenecks and accumulated oil and meal inventories limit crushers’ ability to buy seed, putting downward pressure on Ukrainian sunflower seed prices and restricting exportable product flows.
