Argentina’s agricultural export complex liquidated $3.228 billion in September 2026, up 17% from August, while the year-to-date total was 22% below the same period a year earlier. CIARA-CEC attributed the strong monthly result partly to sustained corn shipments following increased farmer sales to exporters.
Stronger corn sales and shipments indicate solid export demand and can support Argentine corn prices, although they also increase available export supply in international markets. The lower year-to-date total signals that the monthly increase has not reversed the broader slowdown in export proceeds.
After 729 past bullish trade events, Corn moved a median +0.4% over 5 sessions (56% higher; middle half -1.1% to +1.8%), and +0.5% over 20.
