OCP subsidiary OCP SPS plans to acquire the stakes held by Germany’s Budenheim and Belgium’s Prayon in Euro Maroc Phosphore (Emaphos), a purified phosphoric acid producer at Jorf Lasfar. The two partners each hold one-third of the company, and the proposed acquisitions have been notified to Morocco’s Competition Council for review.
The ownership change does not itself add or remove production capacity, so it has no clear direct supply or price implication for feed commodities.
