At the November 3 Barcelona Grain Exchange, domestic soybean meal fell €25/t to €430/t, while imported meal dropped €22/t to €435/t. Soybean oil declined €24/t to €1,256/t; domestic corn was quoted at €252/t, barley at €253/t, and feed wheat at €259/t, with sunflower also lower.
The broad declines point to weaker nearby feed-ingredient pricing in the Spanish market, lowering costs for livestock-feed buyers. The steep soybean-meal and soybean-oil losses are the main price signals, though the report gives no underlying supply or demand cause.
