Live hog prices rose by 1,000–4,000 dong per kilogram in parts of northern Vietnam, while southern prices were unchanged. In the Mekong Delta, export rice varieties IR 504 and CL 555 also rose from their November 3 levels as autumn-winter paddy buying improved.
