The Euronext Commitments of Traders report for 30 October shows funds reduced their net long in milling wheat to 69,187 lots, down 42,062 lots on the week. Commercial undertakings also cut their net short, and December 2026 milling wheat closed at 224 EUR/t, down about 1.25 EUR/t.
Fund liquidation of long positions signals weaker speculative sentiment toward European wheat, which pressures prices in the near term. Feed buyers may see softer wheat values, though fundamentals remain supported by the smaller EU crop.
