East China #421 silicon metal for silicone use averaged 9,750 yuan/mt as of November 5, while the mainstream transaction price was 9,600 yuan/mt, both broadly flat week on week. Methanol and methyl chloride quotes eased slightly, and silicone DMC prices edged lower.
Producers showed a strong willingness to hold prices steady.
