Kazakhstan sold granulated sunflower husk pellets worth $3.4 million in January-September 2026, 6.15 times the year-earlier value. Volume rose 3.56 times to 63.2 thousand tonnes, with Poland taking about 98% of 2025 exports.
The average export price rose from about $31/t in 2025 to $54/t.
This is a niche biofuel by-product flow with little bearing on feed grain or meal prices. Rising European pellet demand supports husk values but has minimal effect on major feed commodity markets.
