Two national strikes are scheduled to disrupt French ports including Le Havre, Rouen and Port-Jérôme from 5 to 8 November 2026. A port worker strike runs 5-6 November, and a CGT towage strike follows on 7-8 November, with possible reduced towage at Le Havre.
Delays at Le Havre and nearby ports can slow feed ingredient and grain discharges into France and northwest Europe, tightening short-term prompt supply and raising freight costs for buyers.
