Singapore bunker fuel prices fell on the day, with VLSFO down $83 to $811/mt, LSMGO down $104 to $1,117/mt and HSFO down $98 to $715/mt. VLSFO is at its lowest level in more than a month and HSFO has declined for four straight days.
Lower bunker fuel costs reduce ocean freight operating expenses, which modestly eases the cost of moving feed grains and meals. The move follows the broader crude slump on Iran peace hopes.
