On 5 November, Chinese domestic urea prices were flat to weaker: producing regions held firm at 1740-1760 yuan while sales regions fell by 30-40 yuan. Daily output was 217,600 tonnes at an 89.67% operating rate, and enterprise inventories rose to 1.7755 million tonnes.
The UR2701 futures contract closed at 1741 yuan, slightly lower.
Rising domestic urea output and inventories weigh on Chinese fertilizer prices, which can ease the cost of imported nitrogen inputs and reduce export pressure. Prices near the 1700 yuan support level suggest limited near-term direction.
