Malaysian palm oil futures fell across all contract months on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives on November 4, 2026, with the largest drop reaching 66 ringgit per ton. Traders cited rising supply, weaker crude oil, and lower rival vegetable oil prices in Dalian and Chicago.
Indonesia also cut its November crude palm oil reference price by 6.07% to US$978.90 per ton and reduced its export levy.
Higher Malaysian stocks and Indonesian price cuts make palm oil cheaper and more competitive in export markets, which pressures benchmark prices. Weaker crude also reduces biodiesel demand support for palm oil.
