China's domestic fishmeal market remained at high levels on November 5, with Peruvian super fishmeal quoted at 26,200-26,500 yuan/tonne, Japanese-grade at 25,000-25,500 yuan/tonne and 65/150 grade at 23,000-23,500 yuan/tonne. Port inventories are low and trading is thin as downstream buyers hold back.
Low port stocks and Peru's closed fishing season keep fishmeal supply tight, so prices are more likely to hold or rise than fall for feed buyers in the near term.
