The Turkish Grain Board (TMO) Malatya branch opened applications for barley sales to livestock fatteners and breeders at 14,000 lira per tonne. Applications run until November 10, 2026, with payment due by November 23, and buyers must submit a farm registration document in person.
State barley sales to feeders at a set price offer a local feed-grain source in Turkey and can cap domestic barley prices in the region. The effect on global barley prices is negligible.
