The dollar weakened after Democrats won control of both the House and Senate in the US midterms, raising doubts about the Trump administration's fiscal expansion and debt issuance plans. The 10-year US Treasury yield fell about 8 basis points to 4.884%, and the won traded around 1,340 per dollar in early Seoul trading on November 5.
