RHB Investment Bank's technical analysis expects benchmark crude palm oil futures to extend their decline toward the RM4,400 support level. The contract closed at RM4,496 per tonne on Wednesday after falling RM55, and it trades below its 50-day and 200-day moving averages.
Technical weakness points to further downside for Malaysian palm oil futures, which would lower feedstock costs for oilseed processors and for feed fat buyers who price against palm oil.
