Wheat futures faded lower on Wednesday, with Chicago SRW steady to 2 cents down, KC HRW off 3¼ to 5½ cents and MPLS spring wheat down 2½ to 6 cents. US Census data showed September wheat exports of 1.546 million tonnes, down 14.83% from August and less than half of a year earlier.
Weak export shipments and softer futures signal ample supply and limited near-term export demand, adding modest downward pressure on wheat prices for feed buyers.
