Corn futures traded 2 to 4 cents higher at midday, with the national average cash corn price up 4 cents to $4.10 3/4. Census data showed September corn exports at a record 7.084 million tonnes, and StoneX raised its US corn yield estimate by 1 bushel to 183.1 bushels per acre.
A record export pace and a higher StoneX yield estimate pull in opposite directions, so the net effect on corn feed prices is small. The gains reflect routine market movement rather than a new supply shock.
