On November 3, Kansas City wheat fell 1.5% and corn 1.3% on harvest pressure, with soybeans and canola also lower. Corn harvest reached 74% nationally versus a 77% average, and a 1.73-million-tonne corn sale to Mexico was announced.
Crude oil (WTI) eased to about $96 while natural gas rose 1.4%.
Harvest progress keeps new-crop corn and wheat supplies flowing to market, pressuring prices, though the Mexico corn sale provides some export support. Lower crude oil reduces biofuel-linked support for the soy complex.
