US December corn futures fell 5 3/4 cents to $4.42 1/2, a four-month low, while the USDA reported new daily sales of 315,000 MT of US corn to Mexico and 136,000 MT to South Korea for 2026-27. January soybeans fell 2 3/4 cents to $12.14 and December soymeal dropped $1.60 to $318.00, both at multi-month lows.
Routine daily export sales add modest demand support, but the price decline reflects ample supply and large crop expectations, lowering feed input costs for buyers. Soymeal weakness also points to cheaper protein for feed formulators.
