Euronext rapeseed prices edged up about 1 euro per tonne midday Tuesday after closing sharply lower Monday, following crude oil's rebound after a 7% drop on reports of renewed US-Iran diplomacy. February 2027 rapeseed traded at 547.25 euros per tonne and May 2027 at 550.25 euros per tonne.
Soybean harvest in the US reached 88% complete by November 1, ahead of the five-year average of 84%, while Malaysian palm oil fell about 2% on weak export data.
Rapeseed is tracking energy and vegetable oil markets, so crude's swings on Iran diplomacy pass through to oilseed meal and oil values. Ample US soybean harvest progress and rising palm stocks keep the complex sluggish, limiting upside in rapeseed prices.
