Dodram Pig Farmers' Cooperative completed a processed feed facility at its DS Feed Jeongeup plant with monthly capacity of about 10,000 tonnes of pellet and crumble feed. The move brings production in-house from previous contract manufacturing.
In-house pellet production could lower feed costs and improve conversion for Korean hog producers, but the volume is small and the effect on global feed ingredient prices is minimal.
